Thermoregulation Floor is the hive’s daily temperature‑maintenance behaviour. It appears as a calm, steady acoustic pattern with a smooth fundamental, a shallow sag zone, and an even midband. While the slice may show natural specks and flashes from normal hive movement, the defining features remain stable and unagitated. This behaviour shows the colony holding brood temperature steady without ventilation pulses or stress signatures.

The colony is in full equilibrium — neither reacting to weather nor compensating for internal load.

This is the hive’s “resting daytime homeostasis.”
