WARM‑DAY VENTILATION

Warm‑Day Ventilation is the colony’s active airflow behaviour used to cool the hive during hot daytime conditions. Bees fan vigorously at the entrance and inside the hive to move large volumes of air across brood and evaporate moisture. This behaviour is stronger and more energetic than Cooling Ventilation and is essential for preventing overheating during peak daytime temperatures.
