Reorganisation

Reorganisation is a short, subtle movement behaviour that appears when a small patch of bees shifts position inside the brood area. It is not heating, not ventilation, not stress, and not shimmer. Instead, it is a quiet, purposeful adjustment — the colony reshaping itself internally to optimise brood‑care, cluster density, and micro‑conditions.

These moments are easy to miss, but acoustically they leave a distinct signature across all harmonic bands, revealing that the movement is coordinated and bee‑driven.

The smudge is coherent across the harmonic ladder, indicating that multiple bees moved together in a small, coordinated shift.

strong internal coordination
stable cluster behaviour
efficient micro‑thermoregulation
no stress or agitation
no emergency heating
no ventilation pressure

It is one of the clearest signs of a well‑organised colony performing routine internal maintenance.

No agitation, no bursts, no reactive tone.
